On the beautiful spring morning of 2nd May 2025, N&C tied the knot at the stunning Lazaat Hotel in Cottingham — and what a day it was. Filled with laughter, love, and the kind of moments that make you smile long after they’re over, their wedding was a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple: relaxed, down-to-earth, and seriously fun!
A Laid-Back Start with the Bridesmaids
The day began with a calm and chilled vibe as the Beautiful Bride got ready with her bridesmaids. There was laughter echoing through the room, the sound of music playing softly in the background, and a sense of excitement that slowly built with every moment. The glam team — @paigelauren_bridalhair and @tonineylonwalker — worked their magic, and before long, N was glowing, ready to step into her gorgeous gown from @wed2be in Hull.
An Emotional First Look
One of the most touching moments of the day came when N shared a first look with her parents. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room — it was a truly special pause in the day that felt incredibly intimate. Capturing those raw emotions was a reminder of how weddings are not just about two people, but the joining of families, love, and history.
Saying “I Do” in Style
The ceremony itself was beautiful — filled with heartfelt vows, tender glances, and the perfect bouquets of navy blue, soft pinks, pampas and fresh greenery, beautifully styled by @create_and_bloom. N&C’s son played a starring role in the day too, being the best ring bearer there ever was!
A Wedding Full of Fun and Surprises
After the “I do’s,” the fun really began. From beautiful family group shots, to the bridesmaids and groomsmen breaking into song, singing their ABC's. The day was packed with personality. The wedding party brought energy, sass, and so much joy — it was impossible not to get swept up in it all.
We even managed some epic smoke grenade portraits with N&C (those Green and White colours popped so beautifully!) and captured some of the sweetest moments between them and their little one. It was clear that this wasn’t just a wedding — it was a celebration of family, connection, and joy.
Speeches That Had Everyone in Tears (and in Stitches)
The speeches were a perfect mix of heartfelt and hilarious. The best man’s speech pushed the boundaries just enough — cheeky, rude, and completely hilarious — and somehow even funnier when N&C’s young son laughed along, completely unaware of what was actually being said! It had the whole room in stitches with his beautiful and infectious laugh.
Balancing that out beautifully was a heartfelt speech from N’s best friend. She spoke with so much love and sincerity, it brought a tear to every eye in the room — a moment of pure emotion that perfectly summed up the bond they share.

N looked absolutely stunning in her @wed2be dress, and C and his groomsmen brought classic style with a modern twist in their suits from Anthony’s Wedding Hire, Hull. The finishing touches — from the beautiful floral decor by @create_and_bloom, to the elegant cake by @tiersandcelebrationshull, to the perfect backdrops, sweet cart, and chair sashes from @aperfectwedding — brought the whole day together in such a thoughtful, cohesive way.
Their rings from H. Samuel, Hull Whitefriargate were a lovely classic touch, symbolizing the next chapter of their journey.
