FAQ

Is Travel included in your Wedding Package?

Yes, Travel is Included in my packages up to three hours outside of East Yorkshire.

Is there a deposit to pay?

Yes, I ask for a £200 booking fee to secure your date in my diary. This ensures I’m fully committed to your wedding and won’t take on any other bookings for that day. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding, giving you plenty of time to plan and prepare.

How are payments made?

All payments are made securely via bank transfer to my registered business account. I’ll send you an invoice with all the details and a payment link, and I’m always happy to walk you through the process if needed. Transparency is key—no hidden fees, no surprises.

Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?

Absolutely! Your wedding day is unique to you! my packages listed are just a guidance to start with. Send me a message and we can arrange a coffee and a chat to choose the right package for you.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have full insurance covering everything including my equipment, liability and professional indemnity - you can request to see confirmation of this at any time after your booking.

Do you shoot weddings for same sex couples & those of various religions?

Of course! Love is love and no matter what your sexual orientation, gender, religious beliefs or disability is! I have had the privilege over the years of capturing a variety of weddings for various religions and sexual orientations. This is a judge free zone!

I'm really awkward and I don't really know how to have my photo taken. Help!

I understand that you might not have experience being photographed and I'm here to help you. Your photos need to be fun not awkward posing! I have a relaxed & fun approach to posing. I promise, I will make it painless and fun. You'll be surprised how easy and enjoyable it can be! I also have a very helpful blog post to help you feel more relaxed.

How long does it take to see my photos?

You will receive a good handful of previews within 24 hours of your wedding day and your final images will be completed within 6-8 weeks depending on the season.

Do you require food for the day?

This is completely your choice! I understand you are already paying a lot for your wedding as is so I am more than happy to bring my own food. I understand that some venues do offer discounts for vendors but I would rather you saved your money! At the end of the day, your boss at work doesn't pay for your meal so why should you pay for mine?

What if you haven't you been to my venue before?

If you're getting married in East Yorkshire then its more than likely that I have shot a wedding at your chosen venue. However, I love new places! If I am unfamiliar with your venue, I will probably contact your venue and arrange a visit or if the location is out of my area, I will arrive earlier on the day to scout the location and become familiar with the venue.

How do you backup my photos?

I photograph every wedding using two professional cameras, each recording to dual SD cards. This means your images are backed up instantly as I shoot. After your wedding, I save your photos in multiple places: on two external hard drives, my laptop, and securely in Google Drive so your memories are protected at every stage.

What happens if you get ill

If I were ever too ill to photograph your wedding (which has never happened), I have a trusted network of professional photographers I can call on immediately. These are experienced, reliable shooters whose style aligns with mine. I would handle everything for you. From arranging the replacement to making sure they have your timeline, shot list, and all the details we’ve planned together.

After the wedding, all editing and delivery would still be done by me, so your final gallery keeps the same look, feel, and quality you booked me for.

Where do engagement shoots take place?

Anywhere you like. Your engagement shoot can take place somewhere meaningful to you: your home, the beach, woodland, your wedding venue, or anywhere that feels like “you” as a couple.

If you’re not sure on locations or haven’t thought about it yet, I have plenty of beautiful suggestions around East Yorkshire and beyond
